Diabetes Today
This program is designed for all patients with type 2 diabetes who are recently diagnosed, are new to the Joslin Clinic or who have had minimal diabetes education. Type 2 patients who need a refresher om diabetes education will also benefit from this program. It does not provide survival skills for those newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Such patients must be referred for one-to-one education. It is also not appropriate for patients with sever visual, hearing or cognitive impairments or those who do not speak English.

Steps to Success
This course is designed for adults with some experience with diabetes who are in fair or poor glycemic control. It is recommended that participants have at least six months to one-year experience with diabetes and know how to monitor blood glucose levels prior to joining the program
